Andrew James Laidler (AJ) started AJL Construction so he could provide a professional, high quality and friendly building service to the wider community. After a number of years working for other builders he has picked up a wide variety of skills in many different facets of construction and he wants to share his knowledge and skills with people looking to build a new house, improve their existing house or even provide an inviting commercial space for a new or existing business.
Joining together with his partner Carly, after working together in the industry, they have teamed up their complimented talents to design and build dream homes. Their goal is to provide clients with an open, honest and positive building experience.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/ DIRECTOR
AJ has been involved in the Construction industry for 15 years with experience
in the areas of carpentry, formwork, mining, asbestos removal, site management, contracts administration and project management across lump sum and design & construct projects in the residential and commercial sectors.
AJ will Project Manage all aspects of the construction for your project from the day to day operations of the site, program management, contract administration of all subcontracts, ensuring all workplace
health and safety procedures are adhered too and above all ensuring the quality of workmanship and finishes exceeds the clients expectations.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/COST MANAGER
Carly is an innovative and driven Construction Professional. Carly has over 12 years’ experience in Estimating, Cost Planning, Design Management and Project Management, as well as extensive onsite practical experience. Carly graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Built Environment (Construction Management & Economics), is a Certified Practicing Project Manager with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), and in 2019 won the AIPM NT Future Project Leader of the year award (all while juggling being a first time Mum).
Carly’s passion is with facilitating all aspects of the pre-construction phase for your project including: design, selections, council submission, consultant coordination, final cost management and contract signing.
